1. No Cryptocurrency or Token

Important Notice

NostrKeep and Humanjava Enterprises Inc. do not have a cryptocurrency, token, or coin. Nor will there be one.

If anyone has suggested, promoted, or sold a cryptocurrency associated with NostrKeep or Humanjava Enterprises Inc., they are not a representative of this project and are acting fraudulently.

2. The Software

NostrKeep ("the Service") is a managed infrastructure platform developed and operated by Humanjava Enterprises Inc. ("the Provider"), a corporation registered in British Columbia, Canada. The Service provides a personal Nostr relay, Blossom media server, and management dashboard.

NostrKeep is a managed service. We provision and maintain dedicated infrastructure for you. Your data is stored on infrastructure allocated to your account, and the Provider maintains the underlying platform.

3. Eligibility

Age Requirement: By downloading and using NostrKeep, you represent that you are either (a) at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, or (b) have obtained authorization from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

Technical Understanding: By using this Service, you acknowledge that you understand:

Legal Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including data protection, privacy, and content laws.

NostrKeep is proprietary software operated as a managed service by Humanjava Enterprises Inc. All rights reserved.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE PROVIDER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Third-Party Dependencies

The Service relies on third-party libraries, protocols (NIP specifications, Blossom/BUD specifications), and infrastructure platforms. The Provider is not responsible for issues arising from these dependencies.

5. User Responsibility

As a NostrKeep subscriber, you are solely responsible for:

Data Responsibility

While we maintain the infrastructure, you are responsible for your data. We recommend maintaining your own exports of critical events and media. If you cancel your account, you will have a grace period to export your data before it is deleted.

Shared Relay Access

If you add additional public keys to your relay (allowing others to publish), you may have additional responsibilities:

Dedicated Infrastructure: Your data is stored on infrastructure dedicated to your account. The Provider maintains the underlying platform but does not access your content.

7. Data Export & Backups

NostrKeep provides data export tools through your dashboard. We recommend regularly exporting your data as an additional safeguard.

Your Responsibility

While we maintain the infrastructure, we recommend you maintain your own exports of:

  • Nostr events (available via relay export)
  • Media files (available via blossom export)
  • Your private keys (stored in NostrKey, never on our servers)

Account Cancellation

If you cancel your NostrKeep subscription:

The Provider is not liable for data loss after the grace period, or for data loss due to unforeseen circumstances during active service.

You agree not to use NostrKeep to:

As the operator, you are responsible for all content stored on your infrastructure. The Developer:

You retain all rights to content stored on your NostrKeep relay and blossom server. The Provider claims no ownership over your data, events, or media.

NostrKeep is proprietary software. All rights reserved by Humanjava Enterprises Inc. You may not:

"NostrKeep" and associated branding are property of Humanjava Enterprises Inc. Use of these marks requires permission.

10. Third-Party Infrastructure

NostrKeep operates on third-party infrastructure providers. While we manage these relationships on your behalf:

The Provider may:

Service Evolution: The Provider will make reasonable efforts to maintain and improve the Service, but is not obligated to provide specific features or maintain backwards compatibility indefinitely.

Breaking Changes

Updates are applied automatically as part of the managed service. We will communicate material changes in advance when possible.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • THE PROVIDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
  • THE PROVIDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
  • THE PROVIDER'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM

This limitation applies to all claims, including but not limited to:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Humanjava Enterprises Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact the Provider to attempt informal resolution. We commit to responding within 14 days and working in good faith to resolve disputes.

Formal Proceedings

If informal resolution fails, any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

For users in the European Union, this does not affect your statutory rights under GDPR or other consumer protection laws.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Provider regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

The Provider may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through:

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your private keys
  • The Provider does not access your content
  • The Service is provided "as-is" without warranty
  • You should maintain your own exports of critical data
  • You are responsible for legal compliance in your jurisdiction
  • You are responsible for all content published through your relay
  • Account cancellation will result in data deletion after the grace period
